In 2010, Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre’s new 36,000 m² hall opens, and IPA – the World Food Process Exhibition – will take place in conjunction with SIAL, from 17 to 21 October 2010.
A coherent, international and innovative offer

IPA, IN-FOOD and SIAL are coming together under one banner to create a coherent offer covering the entire downstream aspect of the food industry, from process to ingredients, semi-processed food products and finished products. This long-awaited alliance highlights the sector’s vitality and has been welcomed by exhibitors and visitors alike; more than half the food manufacturers present at SIAL approve of holding IPA under the same roof, while two thirds of IPA’s exhibitors and half its visitors are in favour. IPA will also benefit from the date being brought forward to October, which is a better time of year for purchases.

Furthermore, thanks to SIAL’s international reach, with 58% of visitors and 78% of exhibitors coming from overseas, the event acts as a driver for international growth. IN-FOOD, which took place at the same time as SIAL for the first time in 2008, benefited hugely from SIAL’s international pulling power.

Between them, IPA, IN-FOOD and SIAL cover every stage of innovation, the main growth driver for the food industry.
